Welp. Accidentally nuked my server with an errant app configuration, which knocked out my main site, the virtual tabletop, and a few other apps the server hosts. And this blog.
Aaand unfortunately, I didn’t have any reasonable backups to recover from. The one time I fiddle with something without making a server snapshot and of course, it’s the one time that takes everything out. Ah well. I suppose I didn’t lose much beyond a few D&D session recaps and some random notes on how I had initially gotten the server up and running.
Definitely a lesson learned in backups. And I suppose now I ought to learn how to user Docker…
